
SAT EXAM PREPARATION PROGRAM
Introduction
The SAT is the most important hurdle to overcome for international students wishing to study at universities and colleges in the US, where is used to assess students' mathematics and language skills to determine if the student will be ultimately accepted into the undergraduate program.
Our specialized SAT Exam Preparation Program includes classes in Reading, Writing, and Mathematics, to increase students' confidence on each respective section of the exam. In addition to the lessons themselves, our program also guides and monitors each student's self-study progress.

Reading
The reading test of the SAT focuses on understanding key ideas in a passage, including finding evidence that supports a particular statement, interpreting words and phrases in context, and analyzing discussions on social studies, history and science. Our preparation program will aim to train your reading comprehension as well as critical reasoning skills to address these issues.

Mathematics
The math test of the SAT focuses on understanding basic math concepts (including arithmetic, algebra and geometry), solving questions efficiently, and applying concepts to real-world problems. Our preparation program will aim to provide practical tips and techniques to tackle a variety of SAT math tasks.

Writing & Language
The writing and language test of the SAT focuses on understanding and improving ways a passage develops and conveys information and ideas (including word choice, grammar and use of data). Our preparation program will aim to expand your vocabulary and enhance your abilities to make commonly required editorial decisions to respond to the questions on the test.

Eugene
Program Instructor
After earning a master's degree from Harvard University, Eugene has taught academic English in a variety of settings, such as classes at some of Japan's top universities, and has years of experience helping students with standardized English and math test preparation, including SAT preparation.
As a graduate of one of the top universities in the world, Eugene understands what is necessary for acceptance into U.S. universities. In addition to his classes, he will also be coaching students on the progress of their self-study preparations.

Luke
Program Director
Luke has been helping international students and those preparing to go abroad for over 8 years as a teacher, mentor and counselor.
With his background in psychology and experience living abroad in several countries, Luke will be providing additional support to students throughout the program and up to the successful taking of the SAT.
Luke is also available to provide insight into the personal challenges students may face when living in a foreign country.
SUPPORT
We provide support to all of our students throughout the program with counsellors who are available to provide assistance in Mandarin, Vietnamese, Japanese, Brazilian-Portuguese, and English for any program-related, technical or personal challenges you may have.
